UPC has added five new channels, one of which is in HD, to its digital offer in Poland.
Three of the channels – Polsat HD, Polsat Film and Polsat Futbol – are operated by the national commercial broadcaster Polsat. The fourth is the music-based Eska TV and fifth Russia Today.
Polsat HD, Eska TV and Russia Today have been placed in UPC’s Select and Max packages, while Polsat Film and Polsat Futbol are in its Max package.
UPC’s Polish digital cable service ended 2009 with 229,400 subscribers.
