Technosat and Conax have announced that they have entered a partnership to secure the new Technosat Satellite HD platform and provide HD content to exclusive markets in the MENA.
Additionally, Technosat has entered an agent agreement exclusive for ten years with Conax for delivering secure HD set-top-boxes with Conax smart cards to its customers in the MENA region. Today, Technosat delivers boxes to over 1 million users annually throughout the region. Technosat is a manufacturer and wholesaler of satellite equipment in UAE and an integrator for a complete end to end broadcast solution from head-end to encoders, multiplexors, conditional access, set top boxes and subscriber management systems for satellite, cable and terrestrial video. The new agent contract with Conax supersedes a long time partnership with another security provider.
With regional headquarters in Dubai, Technosat has offices in 20 locations with its 300 dealers in the MENA and CIS countries. Conax’ global footprint includes a global network of partners and customer operations in 80 countries.
