UPC says it plans to make internet access at speeds of up to 120 Mbps widely available throughout Slovakia by the end of the year.
Speaking to Zive, the company revealed that its DOCSIS 3.0-based service would be rolled out to 16 further cities by the end of 2010. At present it is available in only four locations including the capital, Bratislava.
Earlier this week the company announced its digital cable service would be available to 400,000 Slovak homes by next month.
