KPN announced that today it has reached one million TV customers to its combined digital television services including IPTV and digital terrestrial service Digitenne.
Sky+ HD tops 2 million
482,000 net additions, more than double the same period in 2008, have taken the number of households receiving Sky’s high definition service to 2,082,000. The service received another boost with plans to sell the HD box as standard.
Numericable claims most complete offer
With 240 channels distributed, of which 120 are in the basic tier, the Belgian operator Numericable claims to have the most complete offer in the country. This week, the cabler will add 18 new channels to its line-up.
Polish Dialog sets IPTV target

April launch for Sky 3D
Sky has announced its dedicated 3D TV channel, Sky 3D, will launch this April. A special preview will take place this Sunday, January 31, with a live broadcast of the Premier League match between Arsenal and Manchester United.

Turner Broadcasting System’s retro cartoon channel Boomerang is to launch in the Nordic region on February 1.
Cross platform carriage for NRK HD
NRK will launch its new HD channel on February 12 with carriage secured across DTT, satellite, cable and IPTV. RiksTV, Canal Digital, Get and Altibox will all go live at 20.05 for the first broadcast from NRK’s Olympic studio.
New participation channel for Slovakia
A new Slovak participation channel named TV8 will make its debut on February 1.
