The Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska has announced that it now has 100,000 digital TV subscribers.
The figure is 40% more than that at the end of 2008. Around a third of the subscribes also opt of an additional service of telephony and internet from Multimedia Polska.
Its digital TV service consists of 99 channels, 40 of which were added last year, and includes 11 HD services.
Multimedia Polska also says that usage of its VOD service, which consists of over 1,000 titles, was double that in the last week of December 2009 to the corresponding period a year earlier.
