The Polish cable operator Multimedia Polska has launched its first interactive TV channel.
Known as aMazing, it is, according to the company, also the first in the market to offer true interactivity, with viewers being able to use the red button on their remotes rather than having to rely on fixed line or mobile phones.
aMazing is divided into morning and afternoon segments and includes educational programming for children, along with travel, motoring and music shows and reviews of Multimedia’s VOD library.
It will at a future date also show programming on new technology, teleshopping and TV auctions.
Multimedia Polska is Poland’s third largest cable operator in terms of subscriber numbers after UPC and Vectra.
