Canal+ has secured exclusive TV rights to the FA Premier League in Poland for the next three seasons, starting with 2010/11.
Canal+ was the first broadcaster to show Premiership matches in Poland back in 1995 and has done so without interruptions since then. At present it shows four matches each weekend, invariably in HD.
These are followed by an analysis programme each Monday called Sport+ Extra and a weekly half-hour magazine dedicated solely to the Premier League.
Canal+ operates the DTH platform Cyfra+ and also holds rights to La Liga (Spain), Serie A (Italy) and Ligue 1(France), as well as Poland’s Ekstraklasa.
