A new women’s channel named FEM3 has made its debut in Hungary.
According to VG, the service, which is operated by a subsidiary of ProSeibenSat 1, is broadly aimed at viewers aged 18-49, though more specifically those between 25-34. Offering movies, series, US/British reality shows and documentaries, it will initially be available to an audience of around 1 million via Magyar Telekom, UPC Hungary and Vidanet.
The channel was at first going to be called TV3, though this would have caused confusion with services operated in Europe by MTG’s Viasat.
