Ukraine’s leading cable operator Volia has announced that it plans to launch an additional on-demand service offering HD movies in 2010.
It will also start to offer its subscribers HD channels, as well as internet access at higher speeds through the DOCSIS 3.0 standard. Furthermore, it will add Discovery Travel & Living and ID: Investigation Discovery to its premium digital channel offer.
Volia has already said it plans to launch an IPTV service in 2010.
This year saw it add 25 new channels to its digital offer and almost double the volume of traffic in all high-speed internet packages in the Volia Broadband service.
