RCS/RDS buys into Hungarian cableco

Romanian RCS/RDS-owned Digi Telecommunications has acquired a 30% in the Hungarian cable operator TvNetWork for an undisclosed fee.
Quoted in Portfolio, TvNetWork executive and shareholder Attila Nemes said he expects Digi to raise its stake in TvNetWork still further.
Digi already operates a DTH platform and one of the leading cable networks in Hungary, while TvNetWork provides triple play services in Budapest.
