Cartoon Network and classic movie channel TCM will return to the M7 Group satellite DTH platforms in The Netherlands and Flanders, Canal Satellite Digitaal and TV Vlaanderen this Monday (December 21). Next year, Turner’s Boomerang will also be added to the two satcasters’ line-up.
Gordana Duspara-Moriarty, VP & general manager, Benelux and Central & Eastern Europe, Turner Broadcasting System Europe, said in a statement: “We are delighted that Cartoon Network and TCM are back on the M7 Group satellite platforms.”
Stefano Colombo, content dDirector at M7 Group, added: “We are very excited with the re-launch of Cartoon Network. This is a great Christmas present to our subscribers and we are looking forward to launching Boomerang as well in Q1 of 2010.”
In a related development, the M7 Group has confirmed to the Dutch press that it will also launch RTL4 HD before the end of the year.
