The Business of Multiscreen Television
Mediaset’s Elettronica Industriale has renewed its leases with Eutelsat on Atlantic Bird 3 (5 degrees West) for DTT distribution across Italy.
The two transponders leased by the network operator host four multiplexes uplinked from its teleport in Milan and carry both FTA and pay-TV content.
Atlantic Bird 3 has been used by Elettronica Industriale since March 2006 and is also employed for DTT distribution in France and Algeria.
