The leading Croatian cable operator B.net has issued encouraging preliminary results for 2009.
They show that the company had revenues of HRK153.3 million (€21 million), which was 10.5% higher than planned and 33.9% more than in 2008. At the same time, its EBITDA margin doubled from 6% in 2008 to 12% in 2009.
B.net was formed by the merger of DCM and Adriatic Cable. Owned by the Austrian company Bewag, it currently claims just over 250,000 subscribers.
