Only 12% of Poles have an interest in subscribing to a mobile TV service, as opposed to 17% three years ago.
The surprise finding is contained in a report produced by Ericsson ConsumerLab and published by Wirtualne Media. However, it was researched in the period March-May 2009, several months before the country’s mobile TV service, operated by Info-TV-FM, made its debut.
The report also found that of the 12% of respondents aged 15-69 who expressed an interest in mobile TV, 44% would like to chiefly watch information-based services and 40% music channels.
The highest interest in mobile TV was amongst young and active urban consumers.
