SeeSaw has opened its site for registrations to the beta version of the online TV platform.
Would be users can register on the company’s website from where they will be later sent an invitation and code to participate in the Arqiva-owned project. The first codes are expected to be released in January.
In October, SeeSaw controller John Keeling said the project was close to beta, but at the time said he was doubtful this would be achieved before Christmas.
Built on technology belonging to the former Kangaroo project, SeeSaw has already signed up BBC Worldwide to supply the service, which will be a mix of paid for and advertising supported content.
