Data published by Hungary’s National Communications Council (NHH) shows that the country ended October with 1.724 million fixed line broadband subscriptions.
The number of ADSL and cable modem subscriptions were 217,000 and 186,000 higher respectively than a year earlier.
According to the NHH, smaller operators have increased their share of the cable modem market, with the total number of broadband cable subscribers being around 917,000 as of the end of October.
