A Proton-M rocket carrying the W-7 French telecom satellite was launched from the Baikonur spaceport in Kazakhstan at 5:19 p.m. Moscow time on Tuesday, Khrunichev Aerospace Center spokesman Alexander Bobrenyov told the press agency Itar-Tass.

Eutelsat W7 launch re-scheduled
UPDATE 12.00. International Launch Services (ILS) has informed Eutelsat of a 24-hour launch delay for the W7 satellite, which was originally scheduled to take place Monday, November 23, at 14.19 GMT from the from Baikonor cosmodrome in Kazakstan,. The satellite and launcher are both in safe configuration mode.

Proposals to raise the amount paid by Norwegian cablenets for commercial channel TV2 by some 1,500% have been ruled illegal by the Cable Dispute Tribunal.
Successful launch for Intelsat-14
