Record 856 million US video views for Hulu

Hulu viewing was up in the US to record levels of 856 million (a 3.1% share) in October during the height of the autumn TV season. The average Hulu viewer watched 20.1 videos, totaling two hours of videos per viewer, according to the comScore Video Metrix service.

ITV Player to join Freesat

Subscription-free satellite service Freesat has confirmed that the ITV Player catch-up service will join the platform in the first half of 2010. It will join the BBC iPlayer, a beta version of which will be made available from December 7, 2009.
