The international news channel euronews has announced the launch of a daily 10-minute programme on Ukrainian National Television.
As a result, it now offers part-time services in four CEE languages – Ukrainian, Lithuanian, Serbian and Romanian – in addition to eight languages, including Arabic, English, French and Russian, round-the-clock.
Prior to Ukraine, the most recent euronews launch was in Lithuania (30 minutes, aired three times daily on LNK Info TV, since September).
Euronews also co-operates with China’s CCTV and plans to launch a Turkish service in January 2010.
