The Spanish cable operator ONO will launch the English learning network Aprende Inglés TV on December 1. The digital terrestrial channel Veo 7 will be added to its line-up.
Aprende Inglés TV is a channel owned by Unidad Editorial, the publisher of the El Mundo newspaper, Veo and Richard Vaughn TV. Its aim is to broadcast English language programming such as documentaries, series, general interest, kids programming and others in their original version.
ONO also announced it will stop carrying People + Arts, the joint venture channel from BBC Worldwide and Discovery, at the end of the year.
