The Hungarian DTT service MinDigTV has been launched in the country’s Györ region.
A further 10 launches in new sites are planned before the end of the year, bringing its total coverage up to 88% of the population.
MinDigTV, which is operated by Antenna Hungária, was launched in December 2008, and though essentially a seven-channel FTA service targeting the 2 million Hungarians who cannot afford or do not want to receive cable or DTH also includes a limited pay element.
Györ is located in the north west of Hungary.
