The Russian cable operator Mostelecom has deployed Appear TV’s DC1000 decoder with RF modulation as part of its hybrid cable/IP network rollout.
The deployment has been undertaken at multiple regional head-end locations connected by fibre to a single central head-end with ATM Group, a leading Russian systems integrator.
Mostelecom, which is backed by the National Media Group (NMG) and government of Moscow, claims over 3 million subscribers.
Appear TV is based in the Norwegian capital, Oslo.
