Romanian pay-TV market grows

ACC Convention – Bucharest. The total number of subscribers to retransmitted audiovisual services in Romania stood at 5.72 million as of the end of June, according to Catalin Marinescu, president National Authority for Communications (ANCOM). This represented a 1.4% increase on the figure six months earlier.
As a result, the penetration of services grew from 77.1% to 78.1% over the period in question.
