ProSiebenSat.1 plans to launch a thematic channel aimed at women this December.
According to index.hu, the service will be known as TV3 rather than Fem TV, a name proposed for such a service last year.
ProSiebenSat.1 is already present in Hungary through the national commercial station TV2.
TV3 was the name used by CME for a cable and satellite delivered channel it operated in Hungary in the 1990s, while MTG operates a station named Viasat 3 Hungary, as well as the familiar TV3 brand in the Nordic market.
