The total number of cable modem subscriptions in Hungary at the end of September stood at around 853,000, according to the country’s National Communications Council (NHH).
The figure is based on those for the 11 largest cable modem providers, which include UPC, T-Káblel, FiberNet, DIGI and PR Telekom and together account for 80-90% of subscriptions.
The total fixed broadband subscriber figure at the end of September stood at 1.661 million and that for ADSL broadband at 808,000.
