Tomasz Szatkowski has been appointed the new president of the Polish public broadcaster TVP.
He takes over from Boguslaw Szwedo, who has resigned, having been in the post for less than a month.
Szatkowski has been a member of TVP’s Supervisory Board since this July. He was most recently an advisor to the law commission at the European Parliament in Brussels.
