UPC Romania is making its TV, internet or telephony services available free of charge to new customers for the first three months, allowing them to save up to RON384 (€89.70) over the course of a year.
Furthermore, it is giving existing cable TV customers who want to also have internet access or telephony the chance to receive one of the latter services free of charge for the first three months.
Those who want to switch from analogue to digital TV will in addition be offered the latter free of charge for the first three months.
Commenting on the move, UPC Romania CEO Jack Mikaloff said that it would “help increase the customers base for our new customers while keeping the focus on services in television – which continues to be our core business”.
UPC Romania currently claims around 1,250,000 subscribers in 200 cities throughout the country.
