Cable Europe has issued a call to Member States to carefully examine the Digital Dividend recommendation released by the European Commissioner. It lays out new uses for European spectrum that will be freed up in 2012 when analogue television is switched off and re-used for new services.
TeliaSonera weathers the recession
TeliaSonera ended the third quarter with 739,000 TV subscribers, or 109,000 more than 12 months earlier. Of these, 561,000 received IPTV services.
