The Polish commercial broadcaster TVN has issued provisional results that have raised concerns about its hitherto highly successful DTH platform n.
According to Wirtualne Media, the group’s provisional consolidated income in Q3 amounted to PLN334 million (€78.5 million), while that for the first nine months of the year stood at PLN1,232 million.
The subscriber total for n stood at 730,000 as of the end of September, while the pre-pay service TNK had 159,000 customers. However, there are concerns that n’s income fell from PLN109 million in Q2 to PLN94 million in Q3 and that its operational profit will be much lower than expected.
