The Croatian incumbent telco T-HT ended Q3 with almost 190,000 subscribers to its IPTV service MAXtv. Its ADSL subscriber total meanwhile stood at 527,000, a year-on-year rise of 22.7%.
T-HT’s revenues in the first nine months of the year were down by 1.7%, while EBITDA fell by 4.4%. MAXtv is one of the most successful IPTV operations in the CEE region, and the latest figures show that its take-up grew by around 11.8% in the third quarter.
Separately, T-HT and T-Mobile Croatia have signed an agreement to merge, with the process set to come into force on January 1, 2010.
