Telenor has posted third quarter revenues of NOK26,530 million (€3,161.4 million), slightly down from the NOK27,265 million in the same period in 2008.
Its EBITDA before other income and expenses amounted to NOK10,055 million (NOK10,050 million), while the adjusted operating profit stood at NOK6.041 million (NOK6,113 million).
Telenor’s broadcast division had total revenues of NOK2,167 million in Q3 (NOK2,022 million in Q3 2008) and a total operating profit of NOK263 million (NOK271 million). Canal Digital Group’s revenues accounted for NOK1,679 million (NOK1,592 million), while its profit rose from NOK97 million to NOK105 million year-on-year.
The total number of DTH subscribers fell by 8,000 in Q3, while cable and cable internet subscribers grew by 1,000 and 14,000 respectively.
