TeliaSonera ended the third quarter with 739,000 TV subscribers, or 109,000 more than 12 months earlier. Of these, 561,000 received IPTV services.
The total number of IPTV subscribers rose by 29,000 in the quarter, of whom 17,000 were in Sweden. The number of broadband subscribers at the end of Q3 stood at 2,351,00 (up 96,000 on 12 months earlier), of whom over 20% received IPTV, while VoIP had 295,000 subscribers.
On the other hand, TeliaSonera’s fixed line subscriber total continues to fall, the 5,348,000 total in Q3 being 573,000 lower than year earlier.
TeliaSonera’s net sales in Q3 amounted to SEK27,069,000 (€2,641,195), a 5% increase on 12 months earlier, while its net income also rose by 5% in the same period to reach SEK5,678,000.
