The German cable operator Unitymedia will add four new channels to its digital line-up – Servus TV, Lust Pur, ZDFneo and Russia Today – from November 1.
SevisTV is the Austrian channel from the Red Bull drinks company, the former local Salzburg TV channel. On satellite, the channel is also available on HD, but Unitymedia will distribute in SD.
ZDFneo is the new thematic channel from public broadcaster ZDF and replaces ZDFdokukanaal; programming is aimed at a younger audience. The two channels, plus Russia Today, will be part of the basic digital offer.
The adult entertainment channel Lust Pur will be part of the Digital TV Sport & Mehr tier and will bring the total of channels in this package to 14.
