The Polish cable operator Toya has added seven more channels, four of which are in HD, to its offer.
According to Wirtualne Media, the channels in question are Animal Planet HD, Nat Geo Wild HD, Eurosport 2 HD, Fashion TV HD, Discovery Historia, Nat Geo Wild and Eska TV.
As a result of the additions, Toya will be offering more HD channels (15) than any other cable operator in Poland.
Toya ended Q2 with 160,000 subscribers, of who 25,500 received digital TV services. Based in the city of Lódz, it claims to be the largest wholly Polish owned cable operator.
