The French media authority CSA has announced the official analogue switch-off date for the transmitters of Canal+ in the region Ile-de-France, which includes Paris and the Eiffel Tower transmitter.
The analogue broadcasts of the pay-TV channel will end on November 24, 2010, ahead of the analogue switch-off of the free to air broadcasters TF1, France 2, France 3, Arte and M6, which has been set for March 8, 2011. Both dates are ahead of the European ASO deadline of 2012.
