Romance TV will make its full debut as a 24-hour , localised pay-TV channel in Poland in Q1 2010.
Operated by Germany’s Mainstream Media AG, Romance TV made its debut in Germany on Valentine’s Day in 2008. It is currently distributed by all the leading pay-TV platforms in Germany, including Sky, Kabel Deutschland, Unitymedia and Arena Sat.
Furthermore, it is also available in Austria and Switzerland.
Romance TV is aimed at a female audience aged 30+ and has been available in Poland since September 19 this year, when it launched as a weekly, 1.5 hour programme on the regional station TVS.
Further launches are planned in more countries, including Turkey and Bulgaria.
