There are plenty of iPod docking systems around, but Lenco has announced the introduction of an iPod docking system that shows video on a 22 inch screen. Its TFT-2277 television with built in iPod docking system also display photos and movies.
The Lenco product, with charging capability for almost all iPod versions, comes equipped with a built-in DVB-T receiver and is HD-ready. The device also supports analogue TV systems (PAL and Secam). The 2.1 speaker system boosts a total RMS power of 16 watts. Teletext, child lock and hotel mode are also part of the specifications.
“We want consumers to offer a full and complete system, especially now that the video iPod is becoming increasingly popular. Think about the popularity of sites such as YouTube. To watch that on large screen is obviously a special experience, ” said commercial director Rene de Voogd of Lenco in a statement.
The device has an HDMI input, a 3.5 mm PC audio input, 3 RCA YUV inputs and S-video, Scart and VGA inputs, a 75 Ohm antenna input and the device can operate 12 volt DC.
