The Dutch version of the Disney Channel will launch in Flanders on Telenet’s cable network and Belgacom TV’s IPTV service, according to the two companies.
Disney will launch on Belgacom TV on October 30. It will be part of the basic Confort tier, which also includes the kids channels vtmKzoom, Nickelodeon, Baby TV and Cartoon Network. Further kids channels are offered in the Dutch language bouquet NL Select.
Two days later, on November 1, the Disney Channel will also launch on the Telenet cable network, also as part of its basic digital tier. At the same time, both the French and the Dutch versions of Disney Channel will be launched on the Telenet networks in the Brussels region. Nickelodeon, vtmKzoom, Studio 100 and Cartoon Network are also part of basic digital. More kids channels are available in extended tiers.
