A change in the ownership structure of Russia’s Comstar-UTS has been finalised, with Sistema completing the sale of its 50.91% in the company to MTS for around R39.15 billion (€900 million).
At the same time, Comstar-UTS has completed the latest phase of its regional restructuring, with the acquisition of eight cable companies providing cable services by JIR Broadcast Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of Comstar-UTS.
