Creative agency Kemistry has unveiled the logos it has created for the relaunch of Chello Zone’s UK entertainment channels under the CBS brand.
Kemistry, which created the Zone Media identity in 2005, has produced three logos with bright, bold colours. As of November 16, Zone Reality becomes CBS Reality (yellow); Zone Romantica, CBS Drama (pink); and Zone Thriller CBS Action (red). Zone Horror remains unchanged for the time being.
“We pride ourselves on having great long term relationships with our clients, so it is important for us to win this project,” said Kemistry’s managing director Omar Honigh-Csizmadia.
The entry of CBS in the UK market marks the first involvement of a major US network since the closure of ABC1 in 2007. The company has created a 50/50 joint venture with Chellomedia that will place the three channels and their timeshifted counterparts into 13 million UK homes.
