The Russian DTH platform Tricolor TV is to provide its subscribers in the European part of the country with free internet access in 2010.
According to the platform, the service will be aimed principally at viewers in small towns and cities currently unable to access the internet in any other way.
Tricolor, which has over 5 million subscribers, will employ capacity on Eutelsat’s W7 to deliver the service.
