Romanian families spend on average around RON70-80 (€16.6-19.0) a month on triple play services, according to study undertaken by Digital Cable Systems (DCS), the country’s third largest cable operator.
Published by ZF, the study goes on to say that this is equivalent to around 8% of an average family income and much lower than that spent in Western European countries, which is in the region of €60-80 a month.
Prices of telco services are also around 25-30% of those in Western Europe.
