The Czech Radio and TV Council (RRTV) has granted licences to four new thematic channels.
According to Parabola, the channels in question are Muzika CS, Cinema CS, CS Doc and Cinema Europa and will be operated by Film Europe, a company headed by Ivan Hronec, the general manager of SPI International.
All four channels will be aimed specifically at the Czech and Slovak markets and distributed by Astra at 23.5 degrees East.
