Deutsche Telekom today said its T-Entertain IPTV platform was “on track”, with over 700,000 homes receiving the service at the end of June.
Subscriber numbers grew by 122,000 on the quarter to reach 721,000. The company said that 20 million German households are capable of receiving T-Entertain over a high-speed VDSL or ADSL2+ line, keeping ARPU stable, reducing churn, and allowing upselling.
The new Bundesliga season commences on August 7, with editorial production now in the hands of Constantin Sport Medien following the ending of the previous agreement with Premiere.
