Digital Cable Systems (DCS), Romania’s third largest cable operator, plans to focus its activities on small towns and rural areas.
Quoted in ZF, its executive director Dinu Malacopol said that the provision of internet rather than mobile services would be a priority in such areas.
DCS is backed by AIG Capital Partners and has a combined total of 200,000 subscribers for its cable and DTH services, which operate under the brand name Akta.
