The Czech public network CT’s transition to digital broadcasting is proceeding according to plan, according to Pavel Hanus, who is overseeing the process.
Quoted in HN, he said that by the end of September the multiplex (1) allocated to public TV will reach 75% of the Czech Republic, with the figure rising to 93% by the end of the year.
The Czech Republic already has four DTT multiplexes and will complete the transition to digital broadcasting, which is already well under way on a region-by-region basis, on June 30, 2012.
