Doubts have been raised by Austria’s ORS about the re-run of Slovakia’s DTT tender.
According to Medialne, ORS’s Günter Povolny told the news agency SITA that, “our experience from last year makes us expect non-transparent procedures”.
The first Slovak DTT tender was cancelled late last year following a legal challenge by Telecom Corp, one of the applicants.
The Telecom Office (TUSR) subsequently opened a second tender in May, which closed on July 16.
Bids were submitted by Towercom, Telecom Corp and Canada’s Valtech Communications.
