Serbia Broadband (SBB) has secured additional capacity for its DTH platform Total TV from Eutelsat, signing long-term contracts for two transponders at 16 degrees East.
At the same time, it has agreed long-term extensions for two transponders it has used since 2006. Total TV will use the new capacity to launch a number of new channels including Cinemax 2, MGM, Discovery ID and two services from Pink Media Company.
They will be uplinked from SBB’s teleport in Belgrade and one operated by STN near the Slovenian capital, Ljubljana.
