Romtelecom speeds up

The Romanian incumbent telco Romtelecom has launched two new broadband internet packages offering access speeds of up to 30 Mbps.

Available initially in 10 cities, they are 50% faster than those offered until now to both companies and residential customers.

Subscriptions are available for two and three year contracts and start from €9.90 a month.

OTE-backed Romtelecom operates Dolce, Romania’s second most popular DTH platform after RCS/RDS-owned Digi TV, and also plans to shortly launch an IPTV service.
