AFDESI has announced the seventh edition of the only international ITV competition: the International ITV Awards 2009. The award presentation will take place during this year’s IBC in Amsterdam.
The International ITV Awards are open to all companies (such as operators, broadcasters, developers, publishers) who were involved in a live interactive television service, or the production of a concept, in the year to June 2009.
The competition has grown to incorporate all new formats of television interactivity, through remote control, fixed and mobile phone. The awards ceremony will be held during IBC, at Hotel Okura on the evening of September 13, 2009 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. ITV Awards will recognize the best entrants in nine different award categories.
Competition registration is available on line on the AFDESI website and people are invited to submit their entries now. The closing date for entering the Awards is August 15.
AFDESI is the Association for the Development of Enhanced TV Services and Interactivity and is based in France.
